I've been following this stock on the SI thread and have a few questions. What about Win98? I've read in the NY Times that Win98 "links you to local and Internet resources, including Online Help, Troubleshooting Wizards, the Microsoft Knowledge Base, the Microsoft Technical Support for Windows Home Page, Windows Update Manager...."

Also on TECHWEB.COM an article called "Win98 -- The Complete Guide" in discussing features of Win98: "a vastly improved set of disk, file and system optimization and troubleshooting features".

Is Quarterdeck going to attempt to compete with Win98 with the REALHELP product? Does Win98 pose a serious competitive threat?

I think so, REALHELP is useful for Win95, but new machines will have the Win98 helpdesk funcionality. The market for REALHELP may be limited after 1998.

On the positive side, many Win95 versions will be in use for several years. If anyone has access to the SI thread (cost $125) please feel free to pose these questions to that thread.
