Communists Are Behind the Anti-Police Protests In New York
.............................................................................
powerlineblog.com ^ | Dec. 23, 2014 | John Hinderaker

Beginning way back in 2002, we wrote about International A.N.S.W.E.R., a Communist organization that was founded in September 2001 and that organized substantial antiwar demonstrations during the Bush administration. A.N.S.W.E.R. embodied within itself the seeming contradiction between the far left and Islamic extremism: it enthusiastically supported both Kim il Jung and Saddam Hussein, and is directed in part by the Muslim Student Association. Our earliest posts on A.N.S.W.E.R. have been lost in our various database moves; the first one that survives is this brief post from January 2003. At one time I did some research to try to figure out where A.N.S.W.E.R.’s money comes from. From publicly available filings I could deduce that they are supported by a handful of rich benefactors, but I couldn’t identify who they were.

We haven’t paid attention to A.N.S.W.E.R. for a while, but their current web site suggests that the Islamic element has become more pronounced:

It seems betrayal is par for the course when it comes to Democrats.

>> Of the four, only the US is in a strong recovery.

The US has had the strongest economy since WWII. No change there. It isn't surprising we would bounce back faster.

The part you and CJ and others like you don't get is that we are now essentially six full years beyond the initial crisis. We spent a trillion dollars trying to "stimulate" the economy starting just about that time. And as in the Great Depression, it failed. Keynes failed. And every last one of you who support that nonsense failed.

In the meantime, we have radically increased our debt -- a debt so great today there is no hope at all for it to ever be repaid (which means it will taken from future generation's standards of living). We were told if we gave him a trillion dollars it would solve the problem. And it only made the problem worse.

At some point you have to quit congratulating this ass for something he had no positive contribution to solving, and start to consider what might have been had we elected competent leadership. Those of us who understand the concepts of business call that "opportunity cost." And the opportunity cost is great.

What specifically did Mr. Obama do to spur the economy? Add 4,000 corporate regulations? Limit oil drilling? Tax medical devices? Push for higher minimum wage? Mandate health insurance? Promote unionization? Give amnesty to 5 million illegals? Raise taxes? Tell me the economic theory behind any of these measures being positive for economic growth.

A rational analysis suggests the economy is growing DESPITE Obama, not because of him.
