Yes, it's not always about racism, but it is an underlying pulse in the times which we live and when we were growing up, at least for me anyhow. And of course it is nuanced but isn't everything, which doesn't make the problem any easier too solve. Police are here to serve and protect the people, when that narrative changes as I believe it has with the militarization of the police, the excuses become easy for both sides of the argument which is now taking place. Included in that argument is the fact racism everywhere, no one ethnicity, religion or is excluded. All lives matter is the bottom line, but then again I'm a dreamer.
