Zeus was always called "Abba" too , that is Father & creator of all the heavens. Neither Paul nor Jesus started anything new with this Aramaic "Abba/Daddy" business & over 2mil Jews really died for nothing following one more mad messiah to their destruction again. Many Hellenized Jews would have adapted just fine even back then and already had, that is the real truth .

They could have just agreed to worship a Zeus/Jehova with a few alterations in the sacrificial rituals, then there could have been peace in the land. Hadrian would not have had to prosecute more war, 500,000 more Jews would not have had to meet their maker on top of many more centuries of needless continued persecution.

You think evolution is silly?

Try all those confused people still asking today whether the Jewish, Christian or Muslim 'god' is the same then see how the same rediculous ancient ancient tribal differences & semantics remain the same . All theological arguments there ever were , always over simple tribal semantics but that larger "God of the Universe" idea was always purely Hellene in origin. (not the hill tribes of Judea)

That they don't worship Zeus to this day? Oh but they do, he was the Father/Abba and as then as now, it was always only a name & exactly same allusion. Its not that complicated, evolution just posits a creation with many more zeros added onto it, simply superNature rather than supernatural, that is all.
