>> Weather is called weather.

He fails to make two really important points.

1. Climate is changing all the time, and we don't really know why. Statistically, one can measure the amount of change and establish predictors for the change, but one cannot really establish that the change is "caused by" carbon emissions or some kind of AGW. The best one can do is establish that some variables frequently move in a way that is correlated. That does not rule out the possibility of some common cause or even happenstance.

2. By definition, it is a fact however that if the climate is actually "warming", then the likelihood of milder summers at a given time and location is reduced. So, when opponents of the fake science point out that a summer is milder than usual, it IS a relevant point. The likelihood of such an event should be reduced if there is global warming. The likelihood of a string of such events is reduced even more.
