Asensio. He is listed on the Harvard Business School Alumni rolls, however there isn't a degree conferred at HBS w/a "concentration in investment management". My guess is that he took a number of investment management classes while attending HBS but you can't get a "investment management" degree or minor from HBS.IMOO.

Charles,
My view of Asensio is he is just one of the research pieces that fit together in the dilligence puzzle. He shares his research with other investors and seems to be pretty good at what he does. We are also sharing our research with each other here on SI, the difference is we don't have a web site of our own and don't publish our reports in the news media. No one quotes us individually even though I have seen SI mentioned in the media. Short sellers usually keep quiet about it because the information link to the companies dries up, nobody will talk to you. Asensio has gone public with his research reports and is mainstreaming the short side of the market. When DLJ issues a long report on a company they don't get bashed by the shorts but a short report gets hit by the longs. The short side of the market has been reserved for the market professionals because it is profitable and the market pros would rather keep this lucrative area for themselves. Its un-american to sell short in the view of some so if you go public be prepared to take some heat. Asensio is the lightning rod for his positions and thats fine with me as long as the focus is on the company and not on Asensio. Lets not forget the lawsuits against AVNT and the criminal suits against the founders.
