What is your question? I have answered the sentence with the question mark. I will address the sentence that is made bold here. You don't know what things are colloquially called by people. Whether the country was named many years later or not, the father or whoever gave the information for the birth cirt may have given what they thought or what others would understand. Doesn't mean a thing. If they wanted to conceal his birthplace thinking that he could some day become the president of US - they wouldn't have made that mistake. After all, if they could dream that big in the 1960s, they couldn't have been that stupid to make the mistakes you can catch.
