Being locked into an ideology (political or "religious" or whatever) which refuses to see the entire picture and that virtually all humans are fallible and imperfect is and always has been very dangerous. Good luck to all who go there. Amongst many other downsides, it guarantees that one has blinders to various facts and also owns rose colored glasses.
