Thanks for reminding me about putting the Rachmaninoff 2 and 3 on my Christmas list! (I bought a Sheryl Crow tape for myself yesterday and sang along with her all the way home from the city -- she puts me in a good mood). It really is difficult sometimes to walk the fine line between strong encouragement and "pushing"! Julia still enjoys the violin, I try to "suggest" that she practice, but don't make a big issue of it. Once she gets going, she usually practices for far longer than I'd expect. She loves music, and that is what is important. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Barb
