So Rocky, is it true? Is Nomyidea going to sell all those original defective disks to you at a discount? Seems like a good investment to me--why don't you at least buy a few thousand and hold onto them for while, and then try to resell them in a few months--hey, at least the most you can loose is 100% of your money, unlike shorting IOM. . .

Once the numbers come out for this past week's activities, I'm sure they will bear out my theory that the price
stability was due to short covering. It seems this latest wave of short covering is ending, which leaves IOM free
to fall into the 13's as no one is willing to buy at this level.

I am still seeing a 3 to 3 1/2 point rise during earnings, so at this point, 17 1/2 to 18 seems as if it could be a
price to sell short again and ride IOM down to the single digits. The failure of IOM to rise after April 18 will
shake out even more of the old-guard Motley Fool IOM types and also cause more institutional short selling.

The overall morale of this stock is pretty low, and combined with it's P/E 34, leaves it ripe for the short sellers.

.................. I wouldn't be suprised to see DVD-RW appear a lot sooner than expected. The push to get in the market first
with this sexy new machine will be huge. Maybe the start of 1998.
