Sorry, I'll pick on one more pet peeve of mine. :)

Why do you use NYSE as your benchmark? I have a friend that does this and it just drives me crazy. :) It makes no sense to me. I know all the drawbacks of SP500, but it's still the index: it's how performance is measured, it does correctly represent "market" if you bought it at market cap, it's the main index fund, etc. :) I don't see a point of comparing against NYSE. :)

(This leads into subtopic of other indices and comparing performance against them or investing into them instead of SP500 - it's a fascinating topic, but perhaps for another time/thread :)).
