62+??? No way!? Dow fell largeley due to MMM warning that earnings would be negatively influenced by Asian crisis. First Dow component to warn due to Asia. S.

Dorine: Dow is down, after a strong opening this morning, because 3M announced Q4 earnings is going to be below consensus estimate due to Asian currency woes. They expect the earnings to be approx. about the same as Q4 last year,which i believe around 00.92 cents range and the estimate was for a dollar. Hope this will come to pass as the day progresses, then again perhaps not, who knows.
