I assert that Germany is using more coal today than it was five years ago, has some of the most expensive electricity in the entire world. And in spite of government continuing to defend it, the renewables program there is in disaster mode. Producing expensive energy while trying to figure out how to undo the damage and put lipstick on the pig.
