But you realize that there's much more competition for 100M loans? In that area they are competing not only with BDCs, they are competing with other sources of funding. At that size, companies can issue prefs and maybe even bond offerings. BDC will get customers who cannot get good terms for prefs or bond offerings. While at 10M range, you can't issue prefs or get bonds out, so BDC can get better quality deals. But sure this is a bit theoretic. :) And you might be right. :)
