Yes, but the fact that somebody doesn't bother writing more means only that they are not writing more. Whether there is a difference in reality between macro and micro is comparable with whether there's a difference in reality between gravitational size physics and quantum mechanics. They all have to fit reality. Economists are full of mumbo jumbo which turns out to bear little relationship to reality, somewhat like Global Warming theorists who have fantastic computer models predicting reality which turn out to predict nothing at all with reality doing something else altogether.
