Hi Hank -

Never mind explaining the market to your bright little kid--can you help me figure out this sudden liking for Broc?! Volume is suddenly up, the price is up over 10%--why? Is this Roger's Christmas present to us all, is it a sign that Broc is worth its salt in spite of hiding in a corner for more than a year, or--and this is what I think--IS SANTA BUYING?

The reason I think Santa is buying is that he's switching to a thin client Supply Force Automation; the North Pole location requires a much more efficient system of keeping in touch with demand. Santa needs to be able to act very fast--a lot of us, after all, don't let him know what we want until a few days before we expect delivery. Now, Santa is a major operation--we should get the Gartner group on this--and HE KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN HE MAKES THAT ORDER. I'm not kidding. He's cashing in before he buys, to offset his costs. After all, his money should be going into toy trucks, not expensive thin client software.

IMHO.
