>> Scalise attended a white power event but that's okay with you.

I'm not going to get in the business of defending Louisiana politicians. Having lived and voted there, I can tell that is a tough assignment.

However, I would say that these claims are certainly less disturbing than Obama's involvement with Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayres, both of which were overlooked by the media and by the voters.

So, when we, as a nation, are ready to hold Obama to a higher standard for his associations, we should start thinking about going after Louisiana legislators.

Muslim Terrorists Kill 12 in Attack on Paris Magazine Offices

VIDEO-- Muslim Terrorists shoot officer in Paris during terrorist attack at Charlie Hebdo Magazine Offices

During a terrorist attack today at the office of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, Terrorists have killed 12 people. In this video the kill one of the police officers who was as the scene during the attack.

They killed 12 people and wounded more than a dozen. They went into the second floor office of the magazine and entered the room where an editorial board meeting was being held. They called out, by name, individual cartoonists and shot them dead. The policeman on the street who was wounded and then summarily executed was collateral damage. They escaped and have yet to be caught.

This was not a "haphazard" attack. It was well-planned and executed.

FoxNews Hemmer is interviewing Josh Earnest.

Earnest is spouting the same ole garbled rhetoric we hear after every similar type of attack.

He already has changed the wording from ‘terrorists’ to ‘perps/perpetrators’.

‘We will offer any assistance. We will stay in contact with the French government. yada yada yada’

White House hesitates to call Paris attack 'terrorism'...

White House press secretary Josh Earnest refrained from calling the attack on a French magazine "terrorism" in an interview this morning on CNN:

The CNN host asked, "Josh, when you talk about countering the message, you keep using the word violence. I mean, this is an act of terrorism, that's what the president of France called it -- an act of terrorism. You're referring to ISIS and other bad actors, it doesn't really matter who it is at the end of the day. You know you're fighting a very large group of people of somewhat similar concern. Do you see this as an act of terrorism, and is this something that has to be condemned on that level?"

"Based on what we know right now it does seem that's what we're confronting here. And this is an act of violence that we certainly do condemn, and if based on this investigation it turns out to be an act of terrorism, then we would condemn that in the strongest possible terms, too," said Earnest.

"I mean, look, this is again based on the very preliminary information that we have, this isn't just an attack as you point out, Chris, on the people of France and on innocent civilians. This is an attack on some of the basic values that we hold dear here in this country and basic values of freedom of speech and freedom of expression and the free press that is also held dear by our allies in France. So this is something we take seriously and that we condemn, like I said, in the strongest possible terms."

They were armed with Kalashnikov rifles and are also believed to have had a rocket-propelled grenade.

In one video clip, the attackers are heard to shout: "We have avenged the prophet."

Video: Paris Shooting: Wounded Helped
They are believed to have called out the victims by name.

A spokeswoman for the Paris prosecutor says the editor and a cartoonist for the satirical newspaper, who went by the pen names Charb and Cabu, were among the 12 people killed in the attack.

Radio France chief executive Mathieu Gilet announced on Twitter that a contributor, Bernard Maris, was another of the victims.

Two police officers were also among the dead, including one assigned as Charb's bodyguard after prior death threats against him.

Some 20 people have also been injured, at least four seriously.

A manhunt is under way for the killers, who escaped after a shootout in the street with police.

Shocking footage has emerged of a wounded police officer being shot in the head at point-blank range as he lies on the ground, holding his hands up.

Video: Hollande Vows To Catch Terrorists
After the killing, the gunmen calmly return to their getaway car and shouted: "We have avenged the Prophet Mohammed, we have killed Charlie Hebdo."

The vehicle was later found abandoned.

Another video taken from the top of a building near the magazine's offices, shows a firefight in the street below.

One of the gunmen can be heard screaming "Allah", followed by a series of gunshots, as they level their weapons.

A dramatic image has also been published of two men dressed in black standing either side of a vehicle, pointing their weapons at a police car.

According to reports, three officers had initially arrived on pushbikes, but left when they realised how heavily-armed the raiders were.

The gunmen are believed to have left several minutes later and attempted to car-jack a vehicle.

Benoit Bringer, a journalist with Agence Premiere Ligne who saw the attack, told the iTele network he saw several masked men armed with machine guns.

Henry Samuel, the Daily Telegraph's Paris correspondent, told Sky News: “According to people on the ground, two masked gunmen burst into the offices very heavily armed, (with) Kalashnikovs, apparently even with a rocket-propelled grenade, and opened fire, leaving several minutes later.

“Somebody who was nearby on the roof and saw much of the incident said three policemen then arrived on a pushbike.

"When they saw how armed these men were they left and then there was a kind of gunfight in the street.”

He added: "Then the gunmen escaped and are currently on the run, being pursued. They moved towards the east of Paris. While fleeing they wounded a policeman and a passer-by was also hit.

"They've changed cars. They were in a black (Citroen) DS, now they've taken somebody else's vehicle."

Video: Cameron: We Stand With France
Visiting the scene, Francois Hollande condemned the attack as "an act of barbarism".

Parisiens have been asked to turn out at 7pm on the Place de la Republique in a show of solidarity with the victims.

Charlie Hebdo's editor-in-chief Gerard Biard told France Inter: "I don't understand how people can attack a newspaper with heavy weapons. A newspaper is not a weapon of war."

US President Barack Obama and the Russian leader Vladimir Putin have both condemned the shootings.

Prime Minister David Cameron tweeted: "The murders in Paris are sickening. We stand with the French people in the fight against terror and defending the freedom of the press."

Obama 2012: 'The Future Must Not Belong To Those Who Slander The Prophet of Islam'

1.7.2015
truthrevolt.org

In the aftermath of the Islamic terrorist killing of 12 people at the French satire magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, in vengeance for the magazine’s mockery of the Prophet Mohammed, it is worthwhile noting the cowardice of the American administration on issues of free speech related to Mohammed in the past.

After the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans at the Benghazi, Libya consulate on September 11, 2012, President Obama and the rest of the Obama administration blamed a YouTube filmmaker for a video called “The Innocence of Muslims.” At the United Nations on September 25, 2012, Obama spoke out, not in defense of free speech, but in offense at the YouTube video:

The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.

And, of course, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton allegedly told the father of one of the murdered Americans that she would achieve the arrest of the YouTube filmmaker. The Obama administration asked YouTube to pull the video altogether.

Hillary Clinton recently explained that the use of foreign policy “smart power” should focus on “leaving no one on the sidelines, showing respect even for one’s enemies, trying to understand and insofar as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view.”
