Right now Prices may be coming down somewhat but I bought
about 3 months ago. A lot of the Systems I see advertised are
16 Megs Ram so you have to add to it.They have Generic Video Boards
with just 2MB and Ram. Also a Generic 16 Bit Sound Card. On top
of all this most have "Monitor sold Separately" in the ad. I had
a 15" Included.

Now during this season you had a lot of Rebates and Instant
Discounts etc.When I bought the cheapest II was $1899 with the
above. I think even Packard Bell was $1699 with no Montior and I
wouldnt go near a Packard Bell.Also It was without Monitor and I
checked Computer Shopper etc.
