A few points on this otherwise slow day.

I pitty Nomai if they think they can get into a price war
pissing contest with IOM and win.

ZIP data disks are not like cheap interchangeable casette tapes.
If you buy a cheap tape and your deck eats it you lose Voodoo Lounge.
If your el cheapo data disk dies you lose your data and possibly ruin
your drive. What user is willing to risk that to save $1 ???

I'm sure you will see IOM putting a warning on drives that due
to the precision and engineering fault tolerances of IOM drives
that IOM would not recommend using non IOM disks and doing so could
result in data loss or drive failure, which would void warranty.

The user risk would be too great, therefore the disks will not catch on, and Nomai will bleed to death slowly, similiar to SYQT.

These clowns (BO rr) troll for attention. It shocks me that people take the time to respond in a nontaunting way to them. Their arguments are fud but take on credibility when people respond by taking them seriously. WAKE UP thread!!!!
