People will be going from downtown SF to LA by green-powered electric trains faster than they can drive to SFO, wait an hour, fly to LAX, and then drive to downtown LA.

I've driven to So-Cal at least 100 times over the years and never once went to downtown LA. I doubt anyone else goes there as well. What the hell happens in downtown LA? If it involves business the visit would be to Orange County or the Valley or further south to San Diego. I don't believe I've ever flown into LAX for a business purpose. If it goes San Jose to Disneyland I'll think about taking it but I would need a car regardless.

Let me know when government tackles a major infrastructure program and comes in within budget.

I will give $100 to Greenpeace when that train connecting SF and LA is completed. CA is FU'd up, they can't do anything. It'll never be completed, but they'll shovel enormous amounts of wealth around to the political class and their cronies pretending to build it.
