>> "We are pleased that CICS selected us for this project based on our Year 2000 expertise. Our REMEDY2000(TM) methodology provides the means for clients such as 3M to: complete an assessment of their requirements prior to entering into a large millennium project; to remediate their code; and to implement compliant code in their production systems. I believe that once we prove ourselves on this phase, 3M will consider our team for its other 58 sites in North America." << It was clear to me that this announcement was regarding the initial assessment of 3M's year 2000 problem. However, most companies the size of 3M require an assessment before they give you the project. If the company that does the assessment has the capabilities to do the conversion, then they should be considered to be the front runners in receiving the full contract. If I was going to pick a company to do my assessment, I would also pick one that could do the work if I decided to use them. If the full contract is awarded to AGISS, then it would be very likely that CSGI should get a portion of the code. My investment advisor talked to Mr. Scott Feagan, President of AGISS. I posted some of those questions and answers on this thread in post # 1590 Here is again what Mr. Feagan said about CSGI =================================== Q. What do you think of CSGI's tool ? A. "we are very impressed by the tool and so far, they have done two pilot projects for us and both of them have turned out very well. I think all they need now is to sign a large contact and I feel you should see this in Q1 once the flood gates open." Q. It has been rumored that CSGI has put out new pricing, would you say that this pricing was aggressive, semi aggressive, or comparable to other vendors ? A. "I would say that their new pricing strategy is very aggressive. It looks like they are looking to get the business and that is what we like to see."
