Now you are a guy who understands quality. And I can tell you, there are not many who can see what quality is.

Early days of the mobile phone. Ericsson spent months testing their prototype phones for reliability.

Like shocking, water and dust penetration. resistant to heat, the engineering thing as they had a engineering mentality company.

The competitor, Nokia, starting bring to market new and newer phones as they understood the consumer did not want a phone that lasted forever. They wanted it as a fashion statement. They took off with the money and left Ericsson behind. Nokia knew quality of mobile phones was all about.

A Nikon camera, consumer type, is made of plastic and last max 5 years. A professional Nikon camera is made of a titanium frame, is water and dust proof and last forever. Two distinct quality concepts and Nikon camera knows it.

You didn't buy the bike to go the Moon. You bought it to have fun on the free time. And the Italian designers and manufacturers had you in mind. A Moon bike would be zero defects as if it failed, you would die. And probably you could not afford the damn thing.

There are guys who spend 700 to 1.000 bucks on a pair of shoes. Men's shoes. And I believe that these shoes are fucking great. But I will never spend more than 200 bucks in a pair of shoes and sports shoes are max $100. . I can stop by the Sahara Mall here in Riyadh, just outside the gate of the company and buy them. But I won't. Don't I know what quality of footwear is? I do

I recall a general fuming after analyzing a Soviet tank and seeing it performing live (I think it was captured by the Israelis in one of the wars with the Egyptians.) Haim may enlighten us on that.

The T 50 something tank, the general concluded, had everything that a tank needed. It was a fine piece of killing mowing down and maiming people machine and yet it cost a fraction the top US tank. He was wondering why the US tank was that expensive.

Now let's go back to people who build stuff. Can I persuade you, that there are guys out there, with a DNA of making one thing better than other people?

Of course people like to market themselves as the best of this or that because they want to have the cache that comes with it and they can charge you more money for that. It is understandable.
