I'm sure anything will be appreciated. Small amounts pack a powerful punch down there.

I remember talking with Father V. when he made one of his annual fund raising forays into the U.S. A drought in the Sierra was creating serious problems with water supply so he had to get pumping equipment he had gotten in the US through the border, and it was becoming impossible for him to deal with the red tape. He decided, finally, that he'd take some extra-legal action and - horrors! - smuggle the stuff.

He was very conflicted, or so he said. I don't think he would ever let red tape get in the way of his life's work, but he knew that one misstep could cause him a serious problem. I am sure he knew he was doing the right thing and was willing to take the risk.
