HSR would be cheap at twice the price.
The CHSRA cannot be trusted. They vastly underestimated the cost of the high-speed rail and overestimated its usage. They can't be called out on it because it hasn't been built yet, but already many people are calling B.S. on their estimates.

Hence their "cost comparison" lies are unacceptable.
