11.75!!!!!!!!

I am soooooooooo excited. After I bought at 11.625 a couple a days ago, yesterday I thought I was dead. Strong buying, strong volume, and I would bet a strong share buyback going on today. I am excited for once!!!!! There is a strong push up going on now. I hope it doesn't end today. But then again, every time I get excited about this, it goes down. Maybe I shouldn't have posted this. I seriously think though that the downgrades was just a way for the analysts to push the stock lower to buy more, or for the first time, when the stock hit single digits. I don't think we will see those again.

Way to go VVUS!!!

Ed

For the time being they have two shifts running and all the equipment need maintanence. I am talking about January when they start production again. Don't forget add campaign will start on February and it takes almost one month to make the product. It coincides with add campaign starting date. In CC they specifically stated that 45 days inventory is not enough for a major add campaign. I don't think it will take more than couple weeks to stimulate demand.

Analysis estimate reduction is too steep, there is no way they will make $.09 unless factory shuts down for more than a month.

Colby,

Like everyone here I'm praying Vivus has found it's bottum.
Just a note:
The newly installed production equipment is causing the production shortfall. Its taking longer than expected to get it tweaked. The second problem is that the old equipment has had some breakdowns as well. Hopefully the scheduled shutdown in Dec. will allow engineers to tweak the beast.
