These ups and downs in stock price would be much more pronounced if management hyped the stock. That might please the traders, but I'm a buy and hold type and I want to see steady growth. Management understands that they can move the stock temporarily, and I think they rightly try to avoid that trap.

Two views of management are being represented here lately:

#1 Management is indifferent to shareholders and skilled in engineering, but unskilled financially and underhanded in dealings.
#2 Management has reasons for their actions and, while fallible, have the experience and savvy to take this grand venture to a higher level.

I subscribe to #2.
