When you show them as one curve on a graph it's splicing and yet Mann is on record as denying having done that. Even though everyone knows he did. Even his friends and colleagues. BTW on different graphs he does the splicing at different points. Wherever it's needed to make the hockey stick shape. I

f his proxies were valid as temperature measurements, splicing wouldn't be needed.

ratie you are so hilarious. You chart redirects one to meteo.lcd.lu

Where grafting is not claimed. I would say only total Mann abject stupidity or total dishonest conduct is claimed. Mann and all his peers were too stupid to graft the data correctly or dishonestly and fraudulently used faked data.

Your using such a chart I would also say demonstrates abject stupidity or total dishonest conduct. But as such obvious and transparent error, if it is total dishonest conduct it also proves abject stupidity.

Now it seems that the graph is based on faulty and/or incomplete data; a recalculation using Mann's own methodology has been made by independent (not sponsored nor funded!) researchers Stephen McIntyre and Ross McKitrick (Corrections to the Mann et. al. (1998) Proxy Data Base and Northern Hemispheric Average Temperature Series, Energy & Environment, vol.14, number 6, 2003, ISSN 0958-305X; complete text as as pdf file here), . The results are staggering: if correct data are used, there is no hockey stick, no unprecedented warming during the late 20th century!
