Well just for the record, i don't know what Phillipe and some of you other guys have for breakfast but from the look of my account I haven't found the right city yet, never mind the right store and shelf!! JMO as usual, but my concern with these % returns discussion is this stokes way too much expectation (read: GREED) for the other 98%of us. I think what Philippe has done is absolutely marvellous, don't get me wrong. I sent him a private note congratulating him, he is a very nice guy. And just for the record Phillipe did not first mention Ackeroo (sp) on this board. I believe I mentioned it first and attributed it as a Phillipe pick.

For myself I want great returns partly for myself but it isn't just for myself. What is making me more passionate than usual (and that's a LOT of passion) is I'm going to donate a % of my returns this year and every year to the World Wildlife Fund or another similar charity. My personal favorite is the "big cats". (I wish a bigger fraction of the money donated to the SPCA and "human" charities would be directed toward nature, which seems to take less and less of our collective conscience; perhaps replaced in part by a vrtual reality. I need to do some research on the tax deductibility of an African anti poaching fund, too.

There are so many worthy wildlife and environmental charities. Wildlife around the world are in real and serious risk due to overpopulation, habitat destruction, global warming (much less rain, ice caps = less water for river flow in the summer). This summer I went on an African photo safari and like everyone told me, it would be the best trip I'd ever taken. Absolutely the best.

Money's a big deal but when there's 7 billion people just about everyone of them trying to get ahead, it presents a rather big problem, no? That's what I think about when I think "macro picture".

Anyway, I'm in the microcap kitchen because I'm still looking after all these years. I bought my first kitchen stock over a year ago and it's taken me time to gradually put more and more of my money here. It didn't happen over night. As well, It has not escaped my thoughts that now gold has the green light! So while I 'm very pumped about the stocks I'm in, but I'd be lying if I said I found the formula simply because I've not put it together yet. The tools are here on this board I think, I'm just saying this mere mortal may simply not have the tool box.
