There you go again, Steve. Trying to twist my posts to mean something else. I never said it was settled science. I did point out that the oil industry was acting like it was the case because they were. Still are, BTW. It is almost like they don't believe it will last long... Per usual, you are ignoring some important factors. Like the decline in demand by China and India. Because that is a huge factor in the glut. Granted, it could be that their economies may never recover, but that'd be a pretty dumb way to vote. For another, fracking doesn't create new fields. It does enable us to exploit know reserves more efficiently, albeit at the cost of reducing the length of time that the wells can be productive. In other words, production tails off pretty quickly. So it might push back peak oil for a few years, but when it starts to decline, it will go even faster. But your little bubble of ignorance doesn't include anything beyond your own immediate gratification. And your are still a liar. That is not one of my own websites, despite your claims.
