The Washington Times ^ \| January 12, 2015 \| Ben Wolfgang The White House admitted Monday that more prominent U.S. officials should have been in Paris on Sunday for a historic unity march. “I think it’s fair to say we should have sent someone with a higher profile to be there,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters on Monday. The U.S. was represented at the march — held to honor the victims of last week’s string of terror attacks in France and to demonstrate unity and freedom of expression in the face of terrorism — by U.S. Ambassador to France Jane Hartley. Attorney General Eric Holder was in Paris but not did attend the march.
