Seth you ask 2 questions, Elk asked one, at least I think he did, he asks why I invested in FTEL (#23364), but then goes on to say he really doesn't care. I'm going to indulge in this just the one time, because I believe it adds nothing to this thread and wastes others valuable time, but also because I think it is an example of the old, "look wide eyed, ask an innocuous question, get them to commit, and then beat h..l out of them. I was trained as a Psychologist, who put my training to absolutley no good use by becoming a stockbroker in a small (make that miniscule) brokerage house way back in the late 60's, 72-74 happened and after a short but extremely medicore career I ended up an owner of a small liquor business and bakery. I only bore you with the above to establish I can at least spell "Walk Straight Jernal". Elk, you give me too much credit, I did no DD, didn't have a clue as to the fundamentals of FTEL, for all I knew FTEL was the only company involved in this type of endeavor. I bought FTEL as a trade, it turned up on a homemade screen due to extremely unusual volume and price activity, and I was looking to make a few bucks and be on my way. Unfortunately when I checked SI to try and get some notion of investor sentiment I ran into a post from RB and was immediately struck by the man's obvious intellect and investment experience. I then made a fatal traders mistake, I got interested in the company and liked what I was learning by reading your posts and going to the various relevant sites you all had discovered. So I was long & got longer (I still maintain, even in hindsight, this would have been a h..l of a trade, my g.d from 5-10 in less than a month). As to Seth's question (23384), I don't know precisely the point of this thread, at times it seems to be info, at times support, at times comiseration, at times sexual repartee, and other times reciepe exchanging (thanks for the chile RB we laughed and f.rted all night). But look who "just pulled up in the little yellow bus", "choke yourself", "speaking of ignorance", "liar", and on and on, strike me as brutal, sorry. Also sorry to have rambled on so long.
