While Paris mourns, Muslim terrorists murder thousands in Nigeria (use 10 year old girls)

Members of the Boko Haram Muslim sect strapped bombs on three girls - aged 10 years - that detonated in two towns in northern Nigeria. At least 2 dozen innocents are dead in two days.
At least five persons were killed on January 11 in a marketplace in Potiskum, a town in northern Nigeria. The victims were killed when explosive vests worn by two 10-year-old girls were detonated by Muslim terrorists associated with Boko Haram – a sect associated with the Al-Qaeda terrorist network that seeks to overthrow Nigeria’s multi-ethnic secular government and impose Islamic law. This was the second such attack on the January 10-11 weekend. On January 10, a 10-year-old girl detonated explosives that killed 19 in nearby Maiduguri.

The attack Potiskum happened during the afternoon hours as vendors sold mobile telephones to locals. Potiskum lies in Yobe State – one of the areas most affected by Islamist terror.

According to local media, a merchant known as Sani Abdu Potiskum said that the two girls who bore the explosive devices were approximately 10 years old. “I have seen their bodies,” he said. “They were two little girls who were about 10 years old…I could see a lock of hair and a torso.” Eyewitnesses testify that they saw five corpses, including those of the two girls. At least 26 persons were injured by the blasts.

Last week, Boko Haram marauders raided Bagra – a village in northeastern Nigeria – and killed more than 200, sending residents fleeing into Chad. Others died by drowning in Lake Chad on their way to safety. In November 2014, another suicide bomb in Potiskum claimed the lives of 48 students and teachers. On January 10, there was a bomb attack on a police station in the same town. Boko Haram – which means ‘Western knowledge is sinful’, killed at least 2000 persons in attacks throughout Nigeria.

Contacted by Spero, Emanuel Ogebe – a Nigerian-American attorney and human rights campaigner – responded in an email from Nigeria that “Boko Haram's attacks in 2012 approximated 2000 killed. If the numbers for Baga are confirmed, they have exceeded that total in the first 10 days of 2015 already. Terrorists on steroids doesn't even begin to describe this.”

He added, “Boko Haram is now doing in one week what it took them 6 months to do last year. The global silence is deafening on this burgeoning genocide. Paris is bad but Paris is no Baga.”

But who cares?
