Getting up the initiative to do Christmas shopping (next week for sure!!). I wrote to the North Pole and asked Santa for a new clutch for my '88 Acura (parts and labor) since I just found out last week that there is no holding off any further on it (my mechanic described it as being a 1.5 on a scale of ten) and the tag is about $650.00. Enough to buy one hundred shares of Applix which I originally paid $2100 for. For some reason, Acura Legends need new clutches about every fifteen thousand miles. I suspect there is an engineering team in Tokyo chortling about it as we speak.
