In the demented and twisted mind of the leftist, the criminal is the victim and the victim is the cause of the problem since society is at fault and the victim is part of that society, so the focus of the leftist's pity and compassion goes completely to the criminal... yes, twisted and inside out, but that's how they think... this is why they think they're immune to falling victim to a crime like that idiot who was wearing a black lives matter T shirt but was still beaten to a pulp by a gang of blacks... of course, the problem goes much deeper, but to answer your question directly, this is why criminals walk...
