HI Don--I agree with your assessment re the market's immediate outlook.

I place a lot of importance on momentum and that is just not there at this point and so I must believe that this rally is petering out.

As far as the content of this thread -- what I have found to be one of the more appealing aspects of this thread is that none of the regulars take their own analysis and predictions too seriously---and seem to be cognizant of the ability of the market to confound them. The prognostications that most people make about the market are being done light-heartedly and I would certainly not want anyone to take what I say seriously because -- I certainly don't do so. As you know I follow my signals -- irrespective of what I feel or others say about the market.

Please keep up your index updates.

Don,

I'd like to thank you for posting the GUITAR music. Your index calls have been very helpful. I don't normally trade the indexes, but your calls have been very helpful in trading major stocks that make them up.

As far as the prognostication contest, we're just kidding around.

Take care.

Don; RE:" OSX.X Oil Services Index..."

The OSX bounced on the CLASS 1 BUY and is also
one of the strongest indexes.

...nasty-looking Doji today, Don - looks like a Doji Evening Star in the making - will probably tank Real Soon Now.

Don,

I havn't seen you report anything on the SOX lately. Do have an opinion on it? and do you have a target? down or up?

When you say delayed dip to test lows. What lows are you referring to?

Thanks, I appreciate your posts.

Peter :o)

Donald,
Thanks for the index updates and the sentiment. I've been trying to develop a system that would see the CLASS 1 buys you've pointed out. Right now, I'm trying to use simple candlesticks, stochastics, bollinger bands, and moving averages. I'm not seeing exactly how you pick your class one buys, but using your hints has helped me learn more about TA. Your posts without buy or sell signals are also as educational.

I purchased IIXAFs while the IIX was at 237, and sold them yesterday for a nice return. I also purchased XVIAKs when XOI was at 452 on Friday and sold them without loss or gain today. It seems to me that we might be bouncing off of the 200 ema for the IIX on the downside. Do you see support around 245?

I assume for the XOI, you mean support at 450?

Thanks,
Mike
