Also considering that as you claim your an independent thinker and do not like to follow trends (ie. dont give a damn what else others do and rely on your own judgment), why do you care so much what this particular fund thinks or does?!

Huh?! :-) Actually, I was trying to help some of us who do give a damn to what some anonymous Technical Analyst says!

In any case, I think Bernard's post answered the question.

In short just because Madona does not like Pavaroti does not make Pavaroti a bad singer!!

Of course. I don't like Madonna but I wouldn't use that as the reason (or even one of the reasons) to like Pavarotti!

You may as well look at T. Row. Price Science and Technology fund which has had a far better returns than TVFOX for the past 3 years (and they do hold a significant numbr of LSI shares)!

The following data are from Morningstar (all numbers are as of 12/16/1997) :

PRSCX : 21.69% a year over the last 3 years; -3.06% YTD
TVFQX : 42.16% a year over the last 3 years; +4.06% YTD

Maybe those "significant number of LSI shares" can explain the difference? :-)
