The ox and lamb are welcome to keep time, but please discourage them from singing. I hate those animals singing Jingle Bells. I'd rather have Jingle Bell Rock played continuously in my grocery store-which I think it may be doing--than hear those cats wailing and dogs barking in simulated harmonies.
Lamb is a much prettier word than ox. Ox is sounds as if you're trying to get something out of your throat. La-aa-aammmb. Velvety, warm. Like being stroked softly. And lambs have curly hair, which is a weakness of mine.

Favorite carol: Silent Night but only when the candles are lit and the lights are out.
THe Gloria part of Angels We Have Heard on High because everyone knows the words and sings loudly
Least favorite: We Three Kings-Christmas carols should never be in a minor key-except for What Child is This?
Away in a Manger unless it's sung by three year olds

If it was a trick, I will never feel the same about Thomas.
