Actually, I gave my word on the building to the future buyers, and then kept it.

If it wasn't free, I wouldn't keep getting bills saying "No balance due". It took about 3 1/2 years to pay back the cost of the system, so the last 5 years were almost free ($40/ year or so for grid fees), and the last year or so has been entirely free, thanks to my carbon cap dividend credits.
