OK Scrapps, the particulars of this case aren't as much of the issue for me as you suggest anyway. Maybe our difference of opinion stems from something more basic, such as acceptable conduct in a free enterprise system.

We have a free enterprise system here in the US (for the most part) but we also have a nation that is founded on laws with a tradition of establishing checks and balances. There is protection here for rights at both extremes - the few against the many and the many against the few. If your quarrel is with the anti-monopoly laws themselves, then I have mis-judged where you have been coming from.

I am mostly a laissez faire kind of guy myself, but not at any cost. So no, I can't agree with you, if you venture to the extremes in supporting complete or absolute freedom of action, because I guess that I am also a checks and balances guy.

I respect that you may well have a different world view. So maybe we should agree to just disagree, if this is the case. I regret that you, or for that matter anyone else here, may feel that my arguments have been monotonous or silly. So let me apologize in advance for any repetition with regard to forwarding my opinion about MSFT's actions.

Besides there really are many more interesting topics. So for what it's worth, I won't post on MSFT any more.

So what happened to COMS at the end of the day today? I thought that the news in the morning about removing from the reccommended list was weathered.
