Why borrow money to purchase assets which decline in value each year?

The only ones who do that are those who had already purchased assets with debt, before deflation began, or fools.

With virtually all industries faced with over-capacity, it's rare to find a business opportunity profitable enough to borrow for.

That's why so many New Zealand farmers now commit suicide each year. It's a rough business climate.
