If you lend me your credit cards, I can max them out and give the money to all of your acquaintances, while telling them that the gifts are from you. This will make you very popular in the short run. It will also put you in debt. Would that be worth it? Most people would say, "No!" I think your acquaintances would be far more appreciative if you'd start a small business, hire them all, and then take it public, making them all wealthy. Then, your popularity would be a sustainable thing, instead of ephemeral. Don't give them a fish, Chinu. Teach them to fish for themselves and even go so far as to help them catch a few fish. That's the power of Capitalism versus Socialism.
