Yeah, but aren't they currently adding coal fired power plants?

Chinese leaders have a balancing act to maintain.

They have to create enough power to create enough jobs to keep 1.3 billion people happy so they don't start marching in the streets, or demanding a different government.

If burning coal will keep them in power then they'll go with coal because the alternatives could get pretty nasty.
