This news item kills me. Microsoft is seeking to have the District Court's decision that they cannot require licensees of Windows 95 to also install Internet Explorer 4.0 overturned. Their reason? I quote: ""The District Court has forced Microsoft to license an operating system that is plainly deficient and that Microsoft should not be required to have associated with its name."

As I recall, the original release version of Windows 95 did not include Internet Explorer 4.0. Was that a "plainly deficient" operating system? Oh. Wait a minute. Of course it was.

Never mind.
