Gottfried,

I apologize for the delayed response to your question about Trendnet. I was on an extended vacation to Hawaii and most days had no Internet.

You got it on the extender. I bought the kit that comes with one transmitter and one extender plus another extender. The extenders transmit Wifi signals and also have ethernet ports. You can give the wireless network of each extender a name, e.g. "Kitchen" and "Den". I now get at least 60% of the max cable speed all over the house.

It is a great solution for me because my house is very long and the router is at one end. I also have some stone walls in the house that block the Wifi signals.

Blessings,

SOJ
