Re: AGCO Corporation (AGCO) _ Started a small position

Decided to deploy some of my cash and start a small position in AGCO. GN says the stock is 41% undervalued and the fair value s/d be $61.65/share. My motivation for starting a position now, rather than waiting is the announcement of the ECB QE program. Hopefully all that money will find it's way into financing a few of their tractors and farm equipment.

The ECB QE program does not start until March 2015 so I expect this one will be a long term hold before something close to fair value is reached. I just wanted to have some exposure to EU and India and this one was high on my list. I also like TAL for the same reason but am waiting to add shares. TAL is around fair value when doing the GN calculation but they have a good dividend and it's ROC that makes it tax efficient.

Why not AGCO or DE? I like them as well....

WFC didnt get as cheap as say bac or c during the financial crisis.

I think that CNHI has been able to hold up ok during serious headwinds globally is not a terrible sign.
