Larry:

I agree with the above except for #3. Voice quality is extremely high for G* because it is a CDMA system. That in itself makes for better voice quality than the TDMA based Iridium. As for voice delay, neither system will have any perceptible voice delay. A delay problem is possible when using GEO sats at 35,000 km but not LEOs at 1400 km. Are Iridium's satellites orbiting at 700km? That seems awful low. In any case, the voice delay point is not valid.

I did not write the original message, just passed it on as information. I do not have access to the Oppenheimer reports and take what was written in the message as accurate unless someone shows differently.

That said, I believe most people on the I*, G*, and Loral boards that have followed these stocks probably know more than the typical analysts following the company's now. The problem I see is partly explained in one of Readware's messages.

Loral has publically showed its projections for 1999-2002, with a $15.23/share earnings in 2002. I* has not, and therefore, some investors can't quantify what I* will be worth in 5 years, just that it will make a lot of money.

If anyone is privy to this information and can post it for comparison, it would be great.

While both investments should make a lot of money in the next 5 years, quantification is easier with G* at this point. That is what keeps me with a higher $ amount in G* than I*, even though I am invested in both.
