An expansion of my cones and bubbles conjecture earlier, Our entire universe could be perceived as a fundamental particle in a vastly larger physical system (and so on). I don't know how you could even test such a hypothesis, but perhaps in a million or billion years some descendant will find a test.

Carly Fiorina: Science Is Why Pro-Life Winning the Abortion Debate

Pete Balinski reports at LifeSiteNews.com:

Science is winning the abortion debate and making clear that the Democrats' position on the issue is "extreme, hypocritical, and inconsistent," said business leader Carly Fiorina, rumoured to be considering a 2016 presidential campaign, during the keynote address [at] a Heritage Foundation life-and-family forum in Washington, DC.

"Science is helping those of us who believe in the sanctity of life to make our case every day. Science is why more and more young people are becoming pro-life," she said at the event, which was co-hosted by the National Review Institute.

"The former CEO of Hewlett-Packard Company pointed out how the DNA of a zygote continues to be the same DNA of the person throughout the entire spectrum of his or her life. She also noted how in utero surgery continues to shed light on the humanity of the pre-born," according to LifeSiteNews.

"Fiorina told LifeSiteNews after the event that if she were to ever lead a presidential campaign, she would not shun the issue of abortion," Balinski reports.

"'This is an issue that we should not be afraid of,' she said," according to LifeSiteNews, "adding that abortion at 'any time for any reason' is an 'incredibly extreme position' that is rejected by many Americans."

There is one aspect of existence that is far more bizarre and unimaginable than contemplating the spatial, temporal, physical, theoretical and mathematical properties of the universe, multiple universes, other dimensions, etc. Try to consider the concept of no beginning.

How can something exist without a beginning?!?!?!?! -g-

The idea is a lot harder for me to imagine than the idea of no ending. In fact, it is impossible to imagine. For clarity, I do not mean no beginning in terms of what we are able to perceive in our limited way. I am referring to whatever created everything that we can perceive and imagine.

Even if we assume that the vastness of space is limitless and spans infinitely beyond the universe and across multiple universes and dimensions without end, stop for a moment and consider the question of what created the vastness of space itself. Then, try to imagine the beginning of that. Surely, it has a beginning -- but how could it possibly have a beginning unless something else that already existed also created it? This line of thought transcends the chicken and egg paradox, and pushes beyond to ask what created the space that the chicken and egg occupied, regardless of which came first.

Regardless of how our dimension, universe, galaxy, solar system, planet, and lives came into existence, what created the vastness of space in which everything that we perceive occupies? Then, what created the creator which created the vastness of space in which everything that we perceive occupies? If it had a beginning, what created it? Again, how can something exist without a beginning?!?!?!?! -g-

The easiest and ONLY way out is to accept as fact that our minds cannot resolve the concept of infinity.
