Splitting hairs. We have been devastated by two wars fought for the personal benefit of a few very very rich folks (oil). It is now to take back those immoral profits because they were obtained at the expense of American blood. This is not the time to indulge in what the meaning of "universal" is. We can least afford that at a time when this country is on the move upward towards an economy that we all want.

A fact and not debatable or open to interpretation, because it is a fact:

Since Reagan, only 2 Presidents have reduced the deficits: Bill Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.

This is a very unprecedented act by Boehner. Involving foreign leaders, particularly one who advocates war, to upstage the US President on foreign affairs. I hope Boehner realizes that he has a price to pay in 2016 for doing so. The Jewish vote has always been Democratic since a majority of Jewish-Americans want peace in the region and not war.

>>The federal government did not provide universal childcare during World War II

So because something was done in the past that makes it right?

so should we roll back child labor laws, take away women's right to vote?

should we bring back slavery?

should we allow stoning to death one's daughter for sex out of wedlock, since it says so in the bible?

conservatives always pine for the "good ol' days" where they can abuse other people
