curly--

yes, but managing expectations is a fundamental part of managing a public company. inablity to do so is gross incompetence. while the opportunity is still there, my faith in them to realize the potential is substantially weakened.

on another front, it appears that xDSL in general is in disfavor since the general inst./tci deal. we have them getting a 3-4 billion dollar contract for their stuff, while the bells do NOTHING.

what really pisses me off is that while the xDSL industry is hit hard because the market is apparently not materializing, the RBOCs are mostly unscathed. have none of the brilliant people on wall st. thought that if cable wins, the RBOCs are toast?

good luck to all,
trey
