FWIW, Dell, GTW, and IBM were all down as sell as CPQ. HWP remained unchanged. Looked as if someone downgraded all boxmakers.

cpq doesn't need a reason to pull back like today.
cpq has 80% owned by institutions..
it's loved by the funds.
they sell and buy and move stuff around between options and stk.
cpq will start to go up into the ex div date and into earnings and split in january.

World economy not hitting on all cylinders now and for near term. Can't expect rocket ship mentality to continue on CPQ and others. This has been an outstanding ride. If you're in above 50's, sit tight; it may be some time before it moves back to highs. If it moves lower, average in slowly. Still some probability the market will test lows as Asian effects become clearer. Also, 1998 interest rate hike not out of the picture. If you're frustrated because your money's tied up and can't trade; recommend taking a break. Things are going to slow down for awhile.
